Can my existing concrete be resurfaced?
You don’t need to know the condition of your concrete before contacting us—that’s what the assessment is for. Resurfacing may suit sound driveways, paths, patios and pool surrounds.
We’ll look at the slab, existing coatings and drainage, then explain the options in plain language. If damage or movement makes resurfacing unsuitable, we’ll let you know so you can make an informed decision.
Will resurfacing fix cracks?
Cracks are a common concern, and we’re happy to talk you through what can realistically be achieved. We assess the cracking and explain the preparation or repairs needed before coating.
Resurfacing does not stop underlying slab movement, so repaired cracks can reappear. We’ll discuss those limitations with you before work begins, helping you understand both the potential improvement and what cannot be guaranteed.
What colours and finishes can I choose?
There’s no need to have your final design chosen before you get in touch. Tell us the look you like—or show us a photo—and we can discuss colours, textures and stencil patterns to complement your home.
We’ll also consider how you use the area, including vehicle access, outdoor entertaining or poolside use. We’ll help you understand the practical differences so your choice feels right for your property.
How long does a resurfacing project take?
We understand that having work done at home can interrupt your routine. Timing depends on the size of the area, preparation, repairs, weather and the coating system selected.
Before starting, we’ll discuss the proposed schedule and access arrangements with you. Please let us know about any important dates or access needs early so we can consider them when planning the work.
When can I walk or drive on the finished surface?
We know you’ll want to enjoy the new finish and get back to your normal routine. The surface needs time to cure, and the safe timing for walking, parking and replacing furniture varies with the coating system and conditions.
